Wisycom MTK982 Wideband IEM / IFB Transmitter
The Wisycom MTK982 puts two wideband stereo IEM and IFB transmitters in one rack unit, with low spurious emissions and several types of RF modulation.
Direct digital synthesis of the signal gives more than 70 dB of stereo separation, and each channel tunes across a 330 MHz window (470 to 663 MHz on the US version). Modulation can be stereo, mono, intercom, or Multi-IFB. The 3-channel IFB mode fits three audio channels into 200 kHz, for up to 60 IFB channels in one 8 MHz TV channel.
Output power runs from 10 mW to 2 W in steps, limited by software where a country requires it, and SWR sensing watches both antenna outputs. A low interference output stage cancels wideband intermodulation.
Inputs take analog audio on XLR and 1/4 in combo jacks or AES3 digital, processed by a 40-bit floating point DSP with multi-companding. You manage the MTK982 over Ethernet. The AC and DC version adds a DC input for a redundant supply and needs the Wisycom AL1265XF power supply.
