Rycote Classic-Softie Camera Kit

The Rycote Classic-Softie Camera Kit pairs the Classic-Softie windshield with the InVision Video shock mount for a shotgun microphone on a hot shoe.

The Classic-Softie gives up to 25 dB of wind noise reduction. It is handmade in the UK from thin-walled open-cell foam with a built-in fur cover, so it does not color the microphone’s sound. The InVision Video mount uses Rycote’s patented Lyre suspension for more consistent isolation from camera handling and motor noise than elastic mounts.

The mount is fitted with a hot shoe fixture, and adapters for boom pole and camera clamp mounting are included. The kit comes in 12, 15, and 18 cm sizes for microphones 19 to 22 mm in diameter.
