Rycote Mic Tail – 16″ XLR Cable
The Rycote Mic Tail is a 16-inch (40 cm) XLR male to female jumper for Rycote Softie, InVision, and S-Series shock mounts, including the Softie Lyre Mount.
It is the right length to run from the microphone to the base of a Rycote pistol grip, where the grip’s cable clips hold it. It also suits Rycote Connboxes.
Build
The cable is ultra-soft Mogami W2893 star-quad, so it carries no handling noise into the mount, and the Neutrik XLR connectors have gold contacts.
