Wisycom PFL-R2 Portable RF Over Fiber Box

The Wisycom PFL-R2 carries two IEM or IFB RF channels in isofrequency over single-mode fiber, in a portable box for runs where coaxial cable cannot go.

Built for broadcast, film, and live production, it has a wide dynamic range and a low-noise design. This M5L version multiplexes RF, data, and an external source, and covers 435 to 700 MHz.

A standard V-Lock battery powers it where no mains power is available. A DC power supply comes with it, and the battery then works as a backup. A large internal fan, its speed set by a temperature sensor, keeps the box cool even in direct sunlight.

The fibers enter through a side opening and are fastened and protected inside the box. The external connection is an OpticalCON Duo connector. The PFL-T2 is the matching box for diversity antennas.
