Wisycom BFL-R1 RF Over Fiber Receiver Module

The Wisycom BFL-R1 receives RF over fiber: its photodiode turns the light from a fiber link back into an RF signal, anywhere from 170 to 1260 MHz.

In ANT mode it sits in a local rack and receives the RF from antennas placed in a remote area, with minimal loss over the fiber. It can also supply power through its RF connector.

In IFB mode it works at the remote area instead, receiving a low power IFB or IEM channel sent over the fiber by a BFL-T1 in IFB mode. A PAW booster brings that signal up to working level, and the module powers a booster such as the PAW or LBP from its 12 V, 200 mA output.

You set it up with the Wisycom BT app on iOS or Android, or with its four buttons and OLED display, and two RGB LEDs show RF overload and system status. It runs on 9 to 18 V DC and has an SC/APC optical connector and a BNC RF connector. The power supply and a Bluetooth antenna come with it.
