Sound Devices ISO 4 Plugin

The Sound Devices ISO 4 plugin adds four ISO channels and four record tracks to an 888 mixer-recorder, taking it to 20 channels and 24 tracks.

The new channels take any physical input: mic, line, Dante, USB, AES3, AES42, or returns, including wireless channels from an SL-2, Astral ARX16, or Astral ARX8. They route to the main mix, the other buses, and any output.

Like the first 16 channels, they have trim, fader, high-pass filter, limiter, and compressor. The extra channels also make room for redundancy, with up to 10 unprocessed tracks recorded beside 10 processed ones.

Good to Know

ISO 4 needs 8-Series and SD-Remote firmware v10.10 or later. Channels 17 to 20 do not support linking, auto mixing, noise suppression, EQ, or input delay.

By default, Dante inputs 1 to 4 also feed channels 17 to 20, and the Source menu or Audinate’s Dante Controller changes that routing. Each license is made for one 888’s serial number, so include your 888’s serial number with your order.
