The Rycote Short Fur Softie is a slip-on windshield for shotgun microphones, featuring a black short-pile synthetic fur exterior in place of the longer fur found on the standard Classic-Softie. The shorter fur profile makes the Short Fur Softie a more discreet windshield option for camera-mount and video applications where a lower-profile visual presence is preferred, while still providing up to 25 dB of wind noise reduction.
