Rycote InVision On-Camera Shock Mount

The Rycote InVision On-Camera, a Duo-Lyre shock mount for shotgun microphones, fits a camera’s shoe or a 3/8-inch boom pole.

It takes mics 19 to 25 mm in diameter and up to 300 mm long. A soft-grip clip holds the mic toward its rear, and the Duo-Lyre supports most of its weight at the front, with room left for a slip-on windshield such as a Classic-Softie.

The integral metal cold-shoe adapter carries a 3/8-inch thread. The mount’s height keeps the mic and its windshield above the lens, out of shot and away from lens noise. It also isolates far better than a rigid on-camera mount.
