Remote Audio Rainman CB1 Mic Mount Adapter with Bar (1 in)
The Remote Audio Rainman CB1 holds a shock mount and a plug-on wireless transmitter together at the top of a boom pole.
It comes in two pieces. The 1 in microphone bar threads onto the top of the boom pole, with a rubber washer for isolation, and the shock mount threads onto the bar. The second piece, the flange, holds the plug-on transmitter. The CB1 works with nearly any shock mount.
Setting It Up
Run a jumper cable from the microphone to the flange, and tighten the flange around the XLR connector with a hex key. Connect the transmitter, then turn the XLR connector inside the flange until the transmitter’s front panel faces away from the pole. You can then reach the panel without taking the transmitter off.
CB1 or CB2
The only difference between the two is the length of the bar. The CB1’s 1 in bar keeps the setup compact, and the 2 in CB2 gives more clearance for the shock mount, jumper cable, and transmitter.
Features
- 1 in microphone bar with a rubber isolation washer
