Remote Audio Hi-Q Battery Cup
The Remote Audio Hi-Q Battery Cup connects a Hi-Q smart battery to a BDS power distribution system, a recorder, or other gear, with a TA4F, 4-pin Hirose, or tinned-lead cable.
The cup is machined from a solid block of ABS plastic. It holds the battery firmly until you pull it off. The cup is big enough to grip easily and sits low in a bag.
It is serviceable: three screws take off the back cover and expose the circuit board and solder connections, so the cable can be repaired or replaced.
Three Cable Ends
The TA4F version is a 20-inch BDS input cable. The Hirose version is a 4-pin Hirose battery input for recorders, and the pigtail version ends in tinned leads on a 20-inch cable for custom wiring.
Wiring
The TA4 and Hirose pin scheme is pin 4 positive and pin 1 negative, with pins 2 and 3 not connected.
