The Remote Audio CABETASD664 links a Sound Devices 664 to the camera through one breakaway set, with a timecode leg and a stereo return.
At the mixer end, a 10-pin Hirose M, a 3.5 mm return, and a 5-pin Lemo-style M connect to the 664. At the camera end are two XLR3M plugs, a 3.5 mm TRS return pigtail, and a right-angle BNC plug for timecode. The set is 20 ft long. The sound mixer and camera operator can pull it apart in a moment.
To add distance, Remote Audio makes timecode extensions in 25, 50, and 75 ft lengths.
