Lectrosonics SRc and SRc5P Dual-Channel Slot Mount Receiver

The Lectrosonics SRc and SRc5P are dual-channel slot mount receivers, each with two Digital Hybrid Wireless receivers in one compact housing.

They fit camera slots, the Lectrosonics Duopack adapter, and the Octopack multicoupler, and with an adapter they also run on their own from a 7 to 18 VDC source. The SRc5P adds a TA5M jack beside the control panel that carries both channels, for cameras that do not enable both audio channels in the slot.

Frequency Bands

Trew Audio carries the SRc in A1 (470.100 to 537.575 MHz), B1 (537.600 to 614.375 MHz), C1 (614.400 to 691.175 MHz), and 941 (941 to 960 MHz), and the SRc5P in A1, B1, and C1. A1, B1, and C1 each span three standard Lectrosonics blocks, about 76 MHz, with up to 3072 frequencies in 100 or 25 kHz steps. The 941 band offers 695 frequencies over 19 MHz.

Diversity and RF

The two receivers run separately, each with phase-switched antenna diversity, or together in ratio diversity for one channel. Their audio can be mixed inside the unit or kept separate. Tracking front-end filters re-tune with the operating frequency to hold off strong TV signals, followed by two SAW filters and a digital pulse counting detector. SmartSquelch adapts noise filtering and muting to weak signals, and SmartTune picks clear frequencies from a scan.

Controls and Compatibility

A sealed control panel with an LCD and four membrane switches shows pilot, diversity, RF, audio, and transmitter battery status for both receivers, and the built-in spectrum analyzer scans the band. An IR port sets up LMb, LT, HHa, HMa, and SSM transmitters, and DSP compatibility modes work with other Lectrosonics systems, Lectrosonics IFB transmitters, and some other brands’ wireless. Rear panels change with two screws: the SREXT for stand-alone use, the SRSNY for Sony slots, and the SRSUPER for Unislot cameras and the Sound Devices SL-6.
