Lectrosonics SRDB25AES AES Digital Output Adapter for SR Receivers

The Lectrosonics SRDB25AES is an AES digital output adapter that mounts on a Digital Hybrid Wireless SR Series two-channel slot receiver and converts its analog outputs at 48 kHz.

It lets an SRc share a slot dock with a newer receiver such as the DSR4, so every channel from both enters the slot as digital audio. The DSR and DSR4 do not need it, since they output analog or AES digital on their own.

Fitting and Height

The adapter is taller than most SR Series bottom plates, adding a little over 1/2 in to the case length. An SRc fitted with it stands at the same height as a DSR4 on a DSR4DB25 bottom plate, so the two sit level side by side in a dock. The Compatibility tab lists the parts each dock needs.

Good to Know

In a Sound Devices SL-2, the SRDB25AES needs 8-Series firmware 9.50 or later, and SRB and older receivers do not work with it there. The Sound Devices SL-6 does not recognize it.
