Lectrosonics LMb Belt-Pack Transmitter
The Lectrosonics LMb is a Digital Hybrid Wireless belt-pack transmitter that you can run as a one-touch unit or set up in full from its side panel.
In one-touch use, the top-panel switch is the only control. The same switch can be set for mute or talkback instead of power. Side-panel membrane switches and an LCD reach every other setting. The LMb suits video production, theater, stage, and houses of worship.
Frequency Bands
Each band in the table below spans up to 76.7 MHz across three standard blocks, with up to 3072 frequencies in 100 or 25 kHz steps. Band C1 is a version for markets outside the United States.
Audio
The servo bias input takes a mic or line-level signal, and its gain adjusts in 1 dB steps. Top-panel LEDs and an LCD bar graph help set it. The limiter handles peaks more than 30 dB above full modulation.
Digital Hybrid Wireless sends 24-bit digital audio over an analog FM link, with no compandor. Nu Hybrid mode gives the full frequency response, and compatibility modes work with Lectrosonics Mode 3 and IFB receivers.
Power and Build
Two AA batteries run it for about 7 hours. A battery LED turns red as they run down and blinks red with about 30 minutes left. The housing is an aluminum extrusion with machined panels and a hard black ebENi nickel finish. Sweat damages the transmitter, so wrap it in plastic or fit the optional LMCVR cover.
