JK Audio Interchange LTD Intercom Phone Bridge + Digital Hybrid — A 1RU rackmount interface that gives remote callers access to a party-line intercom system, with a built-in digital hybrid for connection to an analog (POTS) phone line. A front panel headset interface jack connects a mobile phone, tablet, or computer through the supplied CN113 cable, so remote talent or crew can join the intercom through a phone call or a conferencing app, and a front panel DTMF keypad with redial handles call setup.

The listen-always design lets both the phone hybrid and the mobile headset interface monitor the intercom like any other belt pack, using a high-impedance bridging tap on the intercom line. Talk mode is set by a front panel switch (Off, On, or Auto), and Auto follows the hybrid’s auto-answer setting. The internal digital hybrid connects intercom audio to the phone line without the transmit and receive crosstalk common to analog hybrids. Its DSP continuously monitors both the line and the audio, and a proprietary dual-convergence echo canceller reaches up to 50 dB of separation with no setup and no noise burst sent down the line.

Male and female 3-pin XLR loop jacks connect the intercom channel, an XLR mix line output feeds monitoring, and send and receive LED meters with front panel screwdriver level controls simplify setup. A front panel 3.5mm TRRS monitor headset jack with volume control, channel select, and an off-hook LED round out the panel. The universal power supply is included.
