Lectrosonics A8UKIT Whip Antenna Kit with BNC Connector
The Lectrosonics A8UKIT is a whip antenna kit with a BNC connector and a full-size template for cutting the whip to the frequency block in use.
Lay the uncut whip on the template and trim it at the mark for the block in use, from 5.48 in for block 470 to 2.70 in for block 944. Then mark it with a supplied color cap on the tip, a sleeve cut from a cap next to the connector, or both. The Specifications tab lists each block’s frequency range, cap color, and whip length. Not every Lectrosonics product is built on every block in the table.
Lectrosonics also offers the A8U antenna precut to a specified block.
