Strange, i can hear the distortion of a limiter in those videos 😉
In my personal opinion, it would be more clever to offer 32bit recording, than NeverClip. Even if it works (I believe in that), it means aditional work for Post. The AVID -Guy might tell us, it’s easy to increase the Gain, but he is not talking about the process of converting the “Special- Normad- Transfer- Bits Technology” into usable Audio.
But the Idea of the new mini-Recorders is PERFECT! Especialy the posibilities to use TC-IFB’s is insane! Thanks for that!
Glenn ( of Zaxcom) explained the process of NEVER CLIP thoroughly . But did not show how to actually set the NEVER CLIP in the Nomad . Is it just enabling the atenuator in the primary card setting then? This is what I do , am I doing it right?
