Sound Devices MX-HIROSE Hirose DC Input Sled for MixPre

The Sound Devices MX-HIROSE powers the original MixPre Series, MixPre-M Series, and MixPre II Series recorders from 10 to 20 V DC through a locking Hirose input on its sled.

Plug a right-angle Hirose connector into the sled before attaching the sled to the MixPre. When the MixPre runs from the sled, set its battery type to NiMH (Menu > Power > Battery Type). To take the sled off, press in the release tab; on the MixPre-10 II, that takes a flat-blade screwdriver or a similar tool.
