Shure TwinPlex TL45 Subminiature Lavalier Microphone

With the thinnest cable of the TwinPlex line, the Shure TwinPlex TL45, a subminiature lavalier, hides easily in a costume or wig for theater.

Its dual-diaphragm omnidirectional capsule is set to low sensitivity, so it handles up to 142 dB SPL with a natural sound. Two side-firing diaphragms double the capsule’s surface area in a 5.6 mm body, for a full low end, an even response off axis, more gain before feedback, and self-noise of 24.5 dB-A.

Nanocoated frequency caps resist sweat-outs, and the flat and presence caps swap to change the response. The 1.1 mm cable is paintable, and the LEMO3 connector fits Shure LEMO bodypacks such as the AD1 and ADX1 as well as LEMO packs from other makers. Accessories are sold separately.
