Sennheiser MKE 2 Subminiature Omni Lavalier

The Sennheiser MKE 2 is a subminiature omni lavalier for television, theater, and other live work, small enough to hide and with a natural, uncolored sound.

Its Umbrella Diaphragm keeps out sweat and moisture, and its dual-diaphragm design all but ends sweat-outs. Two supplied end caps let you tailor the high frequencies. A thin, low-mass diaphragm gives it a fast transient response, and the stranded, steel-reinforced cable is strong and low in contact noise.

This page carries three versions. The black 3-pin version plugs into Sennheiser bodypacks with a 3-pin input. The black EW version, with reduced sensitivity, has a 3.5 mm plug for evolution wireless bodypacks, and the beige version, also with reduced sensitivity, has an open end for your own connector.
