Schoeps Radius RAD Microphone Sets

The Schoeps Radius RAD sets pair a Schoeps microphone with a Radius RAD shock mount, a short cable, a stand clamp, and wind protection, packed in a case.

Three microphones are offered: the Mono Set CMC 6 with the MK 41 supercardioid, a classic for indoor dialogue; the CMIT 5 shotgun; and the shorter, lighter MiniCMIT. Each comes with an RAD-1, RAD-2, or RAD-3 mount, a 275 mm low-profile XLR cable, and an SG 20 stand clamp.

The RAD-1 suits shorter microphone and windscreen combinations, such as a CMC 6 or a MiniCMIT with a foam windscreen. The RAD-2 takes longer, heavier microphones such as the CMIT 5 and larger windscreens such as the Radius Nimbus. It has soft-coated clamps for microphones 19 to 25 mm across and three pairs of isolators. The CMIT and MiniCMIT sets carry a W 140 foam windscreen, and the RAD-2 and RAD-3 sets add a 12 cm Radius Nimbus. The MiniCMIT RAD-3 set comes with a pistol grip handle.
