Rycote Stereo Windshield WS AE ORTF Kit (with MZL Connbox)
The Rycote WS AE ORTF Kit holds a pair of Sennheiser MKH 8020, MKH 8040, or MKH 8050 mics in the ORTF arrangement, inside a stereo windshield.
ORTF places two cardioid capsules 17 cm apart at an angle of 110 degrees. A Rycote adapter bar keeps the mics at that spacing and angle inside the stereo windshield.
The Connbox takes detachable Binder cables with MZL ends, and a Binder-to-5-pin XLR cable carries both channels out. A Lyre suspension and cable clamp isolate the pair from handling and cable noise, and the Windjammer covers the windshield in strong wind.
Good to Know
Rycote also makes this kit with a LEMO Connbox for Schoeps CCM mics and without a Connbox.
