The Rycote ORTF Windshield Kit (Without Connbox) is a professional windshield system designed for ORTF stereo microphone configurations. The kit provides effective wind noise reduction for a matched pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones mounted in the standard ORTF arrangement (17cm spacing at 110 degrees). The windshield body accommodates the ORTF microphone configuration within a single blimp-style housing, providing consistent and even wind protection across both capsules. Rycote’s suspension system isolates the microphone assembly from handling noise and vibration. This version of the kit does not include the Connbox cable management accessory, making it a more compact and lower-cost option for operators who already have cable management solutions. Suitable for stereo location recording in film, television, and broadcast applications.

This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally.
