Rycote ORTF Windshield Kit (Without Connbox)

The Rycote ORTF Windshield Kit holds a pair of small-diaphragm microphones in the ORTF stereo arrangement (17 cm spacing at 110°).

The single basket houses both microphones, giving even wind protection across the pair, and Rycote’s suspension isolates the assembly from handling noise and vibration. This version comes without a Connbox (the box that carries the mics’ outputs out of the windshield). The kit also suits other spaced and ORTF setups.

Features

• Windshield kit for ORTF stereo pairs
• 17 cm spacing at 110°
• Suspension, windshield, Windjammer, XLR holder, and boom pole adapter included
• One basket for even wind protection on both mics
• No Connbox included

About Rycote Windshields

Audio professionals have used Rycote windshield and suspension systems since 1969, and Rycote still builds them in the UK. Its Lyre suspensions have no elastic parts to sag or rethread. Rycote developed the original Windjammer fur cover, and it tests its designs in its own wind tunnel.
