Rycote Duck Raincover
The Rycote Duck Raincover is an open-cell foam accessory with a weatherproof backing, designed to protect Rycote windshield systems from rain and associated noise. The Duck Raincover mounts over the windshield and wind muff, creating a waterproof barrier without affecting microphone performance. The open-cell foam diffuses rain droplets and disperses their impact, significantly reducing the noise caused by rain striking the windshield surface. Secured simply over the existing windshield setup, the Duck Raincover is compatible with a range of Rycote mono and stereo windshield kits. Available in variants suited to specific Rycote windshield systems including Windshield Kit 1 through 8J and Stereo Windshield Kits AD through AG. An indispensable accessory for location shooting in video, film, ENG, EFP, sports coverage, and any outdoor production where wet weather is anticipated.
