Rycote Duck Raincover
The Rycote Duck Raincover is a corrugated foam roof with a waterproof lining that sits over a Rycote windshield, keeping rain off and the sound of raindrops out of the recording.
The open-cell foam breaks up falling drops and the lining keeps water out. It fits with or without a Windjammer in place.
Two hook-and-loop straps hold it on the windshield, so it goes on and comes off quickly in the field.
Choosing a Size
Each Duck is numbered for the Modular Windshield it fits: the Duck 3 fits the WS 3. The Duck 4/5 also fits the Super-Shield Medium and Large, and the Duck AE fits the Stereo Windshield AE.
