Rycote InVision Softie Duo-Lyre Shock Mount with Pistol Grip

The Rycote InVision Softie Duo-Lyre is a pistol-grip shock mount for news (ENG) and location recording. Its Lyre suspension isolates a shotgun microphone from handling and cable-borne noise. A soft-feel grip molded into each clip keeps the microphone from slipping or twisting. The mount fits cylindrical shotgun microphones 19 to 34 mm in diameter.

The Lyres have no elastic or rubber parts to wear out and are virtually unbreakable. The lightweight pistol grip has a 3/8-inch thread for mounting on a boom pole. For on-camera use, Rycote’s InVision Video mounts carry the identical Lyre mount with a hot shoe or 1/4-inch thread.
