Rycote Softie Lyre Mount Pistol Grip

This “one size fits all” mount will fit all cylindrical microphones 19-25mm including the Sennheiser MKH series. The Softie mount is an important part of the Rycote Softie system in that many mounts will sag under the additional weight of the Softie furry when mounted. The Softie Mount design and choice of materials gives assurance of a solid mounting. The universal mic mount is integrated with Rycote’s unique Lyre suspension. The Lyre suspension does an incredible job of attenuating audible frequencies before reaching the microphone. The pistol grip offers handheld ability with a bottom mounted 3/8″ female threading for mounting purposes. The primary consideration of the Pistol Grip is the handheld aspect which carries slight additional weight over the Boom Mount.
