The Rycote Softie Lyre Mount with MHR (Modular Hot-shoe Receiver) combines Rycote’s patented Lyre suspension technology with a modular hot-shoe receiver for versatile camera and boom pole mounting. The Lyre suspension cradle provides complete isolation from handling noise, vibration, and camera motor noise, making it an effective solution for both camera-mount and boom-pole recording applications. The MHR hot-shoe receiver enables quick attachment to any standard camera hot shoe, while additional adaptor fittings allow mounting to boom poles and stands. Compatible with a wide range of shotgun microphones, the Softie Lyre Mount accommodates microphone diameters from 19mm to 34mm. The patented Lyre elements replace traditional elastic-band suspension systems with a more durable and consistent solution that does not degrade over time.
