Rycote Windjammer Replacement Windshield
The Rycote Windjammer is a replacement synthetic fur cover that fits over a Rycote Modular Windshield for strong wind. Each size fits one windshield.
The fur has virtually no effect on high frequencies. With a Modular Windshield, the system gives up to 50 dB of wind noise attenuation.
A Windjammer works only while its pile stays in good condition, so each one comes with a fold-flat brush for upkeep.
Choosing a Size
Windjammers 1 to 4 fit the windshield with the same number, such as Windjammer 4 for the WS 4. Windjammers 5 to 8 and 11 fit the WS 4 with an extension, and the rest fit the WS 295, the Windshield 8J, and the RODE Blimp.
Features
- Synthetic fur cover for Rycote Modular Windshields
- Up to 50 dB of attenuation with the windshield
- Virtually no high-frequency loss
- One size per windshield
- Fold-flat brush for fur upkeep
