Rycote Nano-Shield Windshield Kit
Thirty percent lighter than standard kits, the Rycote Nano-Shield is a windshield system for shotgun microphones. It comes in seven sizes, for mics from 59 mm up to 315 mm long.
Its semi-rigid basket halves lock together with magnets, and extra shielding layers can be added as conditions change. Advanced Lyre mounts cut handling noise, and the patented mounting bar and friction-brake swivel arm adjust without tools.
Every kit works with Rycote’s PCS quick-release system, so it clicks on and off a PCS-fitted boom pole. A low-profile XLR cable carries an RF filter and a switchable 80 Hz low-cut, and the kit packs into its own protective case.
