The Rycote Modular Windshield WS 4 Kit with XLR-5F Connbox is a professional blimp-style windshield system designed for stereo microphone assemblies, fitted with a 5-pin XLR female Connbox for AES digital audio output compatibility. The WS 4 basket accommodates stereo microphone configurations and provides effective wind noise reduction across the entire microphone assembly. The internal Lyre suspension isolates the microphone pair from handling noise, vibration, and mechanical interference. The 5-pin XLR Connbox is suited to stereo microphone systems that output AES digital audio via a 5-pin XLR connection. Compatible with Rycote windjammer covers for additional wind protection. Suitable for stereo location recording in film, television, broadcast, and documentary applications.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.

If shipping within the US you may avoid this fee by selecting standard ground shipping. Otherwise we will contact you with a final shipping quote upon receiving your order.
