Rycote Mini Windjammer

The Rycote Mini Windjammer is a slip-on synthetic fur cover made to fit a specific camera microphone, portable recorder, or mic foam, for wind protection when recording outdoors.

Each cover slips straight on over the device’s microphones. Rycote’s synthetic fur is made for wind noise isolation and has virtually no effect on high frequencies, so the sound stays natural.

Rycote developed the original Windjammer, and the Mini Windjammer brings the same protection to handheld recorders and small mics for remote broadcast and documentary work.
