About Rycote Windjammers

Rycote developed the original Windjammer, a synthetic fur cover made from materials designed for wind-noise isolation, with virtually no effect on high frequencies. Rycote’s fur windscreens fit over its windshields and foams to add protection in strong wind. Rycote has supported sound recordists for over 50 years, and its products are hand-assembled in the UK.
