Rycote Classic-Softie Windshield Kit with Pistol Grip

The Rycote Classic-Softie Windshield Kit with Pistol Grip has everything needed for news (ENG) and location recording with a shotgun microphone. It pairs a Classic-Softie slip-on windshield with an InVision Softie Lyre Mount and pistol grip, and adds a 40 cm XLR-3F to XLR-3M cable and a brush for the fur.

The Classic-Softie’s acoustic foam base and synthetic fur give up to 25 dB of wind-noise reduction, and the Lyre mount isolates the microphone from handling noise. The Softie mount fits cylindrical shotgun microphones only, not tapered ones. Classic-Softie windshields are handmade in the UK, and the kit comes in 5, 12, 15, and 18 cm lengths for 19/22 mm or 24/25 mm microphone diameters.
