RODE Phone Cage Mounting System
The RODE Phone Cage magnetic mounting system turns a MagSafe iPhone, or another smartphone with a MagSafe-compatible case, into a filmmaking rig.
A magnetic disc holds the phone. Five cold shoe mounts take microphones and lights, while 33 mounting threads take tripods, handles, arms, and other accessories. The threads are 14 standard 1/4-inch, 17 ARRI 1/4-inch for the ARRI locking-pin standard, and two 3/8-inch.
The high-grade aluminum frame is as at home in a run-and-gun setup as in the studio, and it helps you capture more stable footage in portrait or landscape. Four built-in slots keep cables tidy. It works with the RODE VideoMic GO II, VideoMic NTG, and Wireless PRO.
