Like the Rode NTG-1, the NTG-2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun Microphone specifically designed for professional applications for film and television. The NTG-2 is identical in performance to the NTG-1 except for providing the optional AA battery capability. An electronically balanced output stage and 48V phantom power are still provided as well as a high pass filter. The NTG-2 offers wide bandwidth, a controlled polar pattern with excellent rejection and low noise SMT electronics. Included accessories are a foam windscreen and mounting clip. Rycote wind protection is available as well as several other options.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.
