Originally designed for use in sports broadcasts, Q5X transmitters are incredibly thin and rugged and have excellent utility across a range of applications, from reality television to stage productions.

This version of the Q5X PlayerMic, the digital QT-AD10, has been codeveloped with Shure to be compatible with Axient Digital wireless receivers for best-in-class digital wireless transmission. Available in Regular (PlayerMic) and Short (PlayerMic S) sizes.

Remote Control Audio System

All essential setup, management, and monitoring are coordinated through the Q5X MicCommander handheld remote control, which is necessary for operation (sold separately).

The Q5X PlayerMic utilizes RCAS™ (Remote Control Audio System), a revolutionary way to remotely control transmitter settings from a central computer or hand held remote control. The remote functions allow technicians to control; on/off, monitor status and battery level and make on-the-fly adjustments of frequency, mic offset, mic mute, RF power level, and grouping, all wirelessly.

PlayerMic’s unique one-piece, thin, rubber design protects players from injury should they fall on it or take a direct hit and is extraordinarily concealable.

The QT-AD10 Digital PlayerMic is offered in 4 tuning blocks that span 470 to 700 MHz and 941 to 960 MHz in 25 kHz steps.

The PlayerMic is also available in an analog version (the PlayerMic QT-5100) that is compatible with Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, and Q5X receivers.
