Lectrosonics ACOAXTX Coaxial Antenna with SMA Connector
When a whip antenna would sit buried in a bag or under clothing, the Lectrosonics ACOAXTX coaxial antenna sits at a distance from the equipment instead.
It runs about 36 in overall, with an SMA connector at the equipment end.
The thicker, shrink-wrapped section at the end is the antenna, its two halves each cut to a quarter wavelength of the chosen block. A color band and tag mark the block.
Mount the antenna section vertically, pointing up or down, and away from metal surfaces. How the rest of the cable runs makes no difference, so in a multichannel bag the antenna can ride on the bag strap.
