K-Tek KP14VTA Mighty Boom 14′ Cabled Boompole with Transmitter Adapter — Carbon-fiber boompole with collapsed length of 48″ ( 121.92 cm) and an extended length of 14’4″ (4.39 m). Lightweight at 2.60 lbs. (1.18 kg). This 5-section boompole includes a KPTA Sidekick bottom attachment for using with a plug-in wireless transmitter. The Sidekick features a male 3-pin XLR output connector with an up-facing transmitter adapter and a removable rubber bottom. The internal coiled cable features the Mighty Boom right-angle 3-pin XLR female connector (KPRCF).

The locking collars feature a thick yet smooth surface allowing for a more subtle gradual extension of each section. The anodized, oval divets with exterior dimples provide a firm grip and smooth feel when opening and closing each collar. The finish between the tubes allows for the sections to glide open and closed. Additionally, K-Tek Mighty Boom poles are hand-burnished to diffuse handling noise.
