K-Tek KEG100 Avalon Carbon Boom Pole
The K-Tek KEG100 Avalon, a five-section carbon boom pole, collapses to 2 ft 4 in and extends to 8 ft 4 in.
It weighs 15.28 oz (433 g) uncabled, and the top is a 3/8-16 male thread. Its Avalon knurled collars work with K-Tek’s locking mechanism for quick deployment, and it is easy to transport.
The Avalon graphite poles use the same high-density graphite as the Klassic line, balancing strength and low weight. They are less modular than the Klassic line, with a fixed headpiece and a fixed Delrin base.
Cable Options
The KEG100CC adds an internal coiled cable with a male XLR at the bottom, and the KEG100CCR has the coiled cable with a male XLR side exit.
