K-Tek KE79CCR Avalon Traveler Boom Pole (Coiled Cable, Side Exit)
The K-Tek KE79CCR Avalon Traveler is a six-section aluminum travel pole with an internal coiled cable and a side-exit XLR.
It collapses to 1 ft 10 in (56 cm), extends to 6 ft 8 in (203 cm), and weighs 1.45 lb (658 g). The black anodized aluminum has a smooth finish, so the sections extend and collapse easily.
Avalon knurled collars on K-Tek’s locking mechanism make it quick to deploy. The headpiece is fixed, with a 3/8-16 male thread on top, and the male 3-pin XLR side exit sits in the Delrin base.
K-Tek also makes the Traveler as the KE79CC, with a bottom XLR, and the uncabled KE79.
