JK Audio QuickTap Telephone Handset Tap
The JK Audio QuickTap sends a telephone interview from the handset cord to a portable recorder or a computer sound card, through one 3.5 mm output.
Unplug the handset’s coiled cord from the phone base and plug it into the QuickTap, then connect the QuickTap to the phone base with the supplied cable. The 3.5 mm mono output carries a mix of both sides of the conversation, plus the keypad tones, to a recorder or a powered speaker.
It works with analog, digital, PBX, and VoIP telephones, but not with cell phones or phones with the keypad in the handset. The QuickTap is passive, so it needs no battery or AC power. For sending audio into the call, the THAT-1 and THAT-2 add the jacks the QuickTap does not have.
