JK Audio Daptor Two Wireless Phone Audio Interface
The JK Audio Daptor Two connects a cell phone or notebook to XLR or 1/4 in audio gear, for remote broadcasts or IFB feeds over a wireless phone call, with no battery or AC power.
The included CN113 cable runs from the Daptor Two’s headset jack to the 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack of any phone or notebook that accepts a third-party headset. The phone or notebook treats the Daptor Two as a headset and turns off its own mic and speaker. Regular calls carry voice band audio, and third-party codec apps carry full-bandwidth audio. Phones without a 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack need an adapter, which is not included.
The input takes line level and the output gives mic level, each on a balanced XLR or an unbalanced 1/4 in jack. Only one of each pair works at a time: plugging into the 1/4 in input disconnects the XLR input, and the outputs work the same way. HD Voice phones on supported networks carry 7 kHz wide-band speech.
