DPA 6388 CORE+ Directional Headset Microphone

Built for demanding live stages, the DPA 6388 CORE+ directional headset pairs strong feedback rejection and clear speech with a secure, discreet fit.

Its supercardioid capsule sits in an asymmetrical housing with a shifted acoustical axis. That design and a tightly controlled proximity effect make the mic less sensitive to exact placement, so the sound stays consistent even if the headset moves during a performance.

Directionality holds steady across frequency, for predictable off-axis rejection and a stable tonal balance. That gives better isolation, less stage bleed, and more gain before feedback. The wide dynamic range handles soft and powerful vocals alike, and CORE+ keeps distortion low across all of it.

The boom switches to the left or right side, so the mic can sit beside or slightly behind the mouth. The frame is a refined version of DPA’s Act Headset Frame, for a secure, stable fit and all-day comfort. IP58 certification protects against dust and humidity. The 6388 comes in black, brown, or beige, in standard or small sizes, with MicroLock, 3-pin LEMO, TA4F Mini-XLR, or Mini-Jack termination.
