DPA 4066 CORE+ Omnidirectional Headset Microphone
Chosen for years by broadcasters, Broadway theaters, auditoriums, and lecture halls for its clean sound and durability, the DPA 4066 CORE+ is an omnidirectional headset microphone with a dual-ear frame.
It gives transparent sound with lots of headroom, and its 6 mV/Pa sensitivity matches a voice to the input of most wireless transmitters. CORE+ neutralizes distortion and handles up to 144 dB SPL peak. The pre-fitted Soft Boost Grid adds 3 dB at 8 to 20 kHz, and the included High Boost Grid adds 10 dB around 12 kHz.
The boom detaches from the headset mount to switch to the left or right side. A double-vent protection system, a drop stopper on the boom, and water-resistant materials inside guard against humidity, a common problem in theater. The mic is IP58 certified. The headset comes in standard and small sizes. MicroLock is DPA’s locking connector. A MicroLock adapter connects the mic to most professional wireless transmitters, and MicroLock parts also mate with MicroDot parts (the lock works only when both halves are MicroLock).
