Bubblebee Industries The Windkiller SE for Portable Recorders

The Bubblebee Industries Windkiller SE for Portable Recorders fits over the built-in microphones of a handheld recorder, such as a Zoom H6 or a Tascam DR-40X, and keeps wind noise out of outdoor recordings.

Multi-pile faux fur slows the wind gradually, and a soft, open inner fabric keeps the microphones sounding natural. To fit it, loosen the elastic drawstring all the way and pull the Windkiller SE over the top of the recorder. Then tighten the drawstring so the soft leather band sits snugly around the body below the microphones. The band keeps wind from entering at the base and leaves the display and side controls in view.

It comes in four sizes, XS, S, M, and L; the Sizing tab lists the recorders each size fits.

Features

  • Fits the built-in mics of handheld recorders
