Audio-Technica AT2020USB-XP Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone

With the sound of the original AT2020 in a USB-C body, the Audio-Technica AT2020USB-XP is a cardioid condenser microphone for streaming and podcasting, with onboard noise reduction and automatic gain control.

A switch on the base selects three levels of noise reduction, or turns it off, to suit the room, with no software needed. Automatic gain control can be switched on to hold a consistent output level however loudly or softly you speak or sing. An LED on the body shows the noise reduction setting and whether automatic gain control is on.

The high-resolution analog-to-digital converter records at up to 24-bit/192 kHz for clear, natural sound, though playback at 24-bit/192 kHz is not supported. A headphone jack with a high-output amplifier and volume control lets you monitor the mic in real time, and a mix control blends it with computer audio. One tap on the touch-sensitive mute button silences the mic, and the LED ring turns from blue to red.

A custom desk stand, a clip-on pop filter, the USB cable, and an adapter come in the box, and the mic also fits the AT8455 shock mount, sold separately, which absorbs vibration noise.
