Zoom H5 Recorder
We’ve posted a new video review of Zoom’s H5 recorder. The H5 is the latest four-channel field recorder from Zoom, and it shares many of the same improved attributes of the H6: a removable capsule system, a greatly improved noise floor, and the same high-quality preamps.
The H5 also employs a brand new X/Y stereo capsule (XYH-5) capable of handling a maximum SPL of 140 dB and incorporates a two-mic setup in a unique shockmount configuration — a first for any field recorder.
The H5 can also benefit from the use of all the H6’s unique mic capsules, including the EXH-6 dual XLR capsule.
