Wisycom MTH610 Handheld Transmitter (US Version)
Made for interviews, live events, and theater, the Wisycom MTH610 is a wideband handheld transmitter. Across Wisycom’s versions it tunes from 470 to 1260 MHz.
The US version sold here covers 470 to 608 MHz at up to 100 mW, 614 to 663 MHz at up to 20 mW, and 940 to 960 MHz at up to 100 mW.
Linear technology removes intermodulation distortion, so many transmitters can work close together without an intermod frequency plan. With linear and narrowband operation you can fit 5 channels in 1 MHz, or 33 in one 8 MHz TV channel. A dual power amplifier and an intermodulation cancellation circuit guard against noise and self-interference. Its DSP switches between wideband and narrowband modulation.
The MTH610 takes thread-on capsules with a 1.25 in opening and a 28 thread pitch, including heads from DPA, Electro-Voice, Shure, Heil Sound, Earthworks, and TELEFUNKEN. The head is not included.
An OLED display, a jog selector, and two buttons set gain and channel quickly, and the Wisycom BT app monitors and controls the transmitter over LoRa and Bluetooth. The recorder writes 24-bit or 32-bit, 48 kHz BWF files and decodes linear timecode. The US version records or transmits, but not both at once. A waterproof 5-pin magnetic connector carries USB, power and charging, and LTC sync. Two 14430 lithium-ion cells, charged inside the transmitter, run it for about 16 hours at 10 mW.
