Wisycom MAT288 Wideband Diversity Matrix/Combiner

The Wisycom MAT288, a wideband diversity matrix combiner, routes the antenna feeds from eight areas to your receivers and reroutes those feeds on the fly with a matrix of solid state switches.

The MAT288 is built for production centers where a control room serves several studios, theaters that sometimes combine the main stage with the foyer or lobby, and ENG or OB van facilities. Software sets it as an 8:1, 8:4, or 2 × 4:2 diversity combiner across 150 to 1160 MHz, so wireless gear can be shared between areas.

Each of the eight diversity inputs has a programmable attenuator and its own switchable antenna booster supply, with voltage and current monitoring and alarms. A two-way data link over the input coax controls the gain and bandwidth of Wisycom active antennas. A light window takes your own labels for the eight areas, and every function can be run and monitored over Ethernet.

This DC version adds a DC input beside the AC supply for redundant power. The DC power supply is sold separately.
