Wisycom LBNA2-LNNA2 Active Wideband Antenna

For directional UHF reception with a booster built in, the Wisycom LBNA2-LNNA2 is an active wideband log periodic dipole array (LPDA) antenna. It gives about 6 dB of gain with a typical beam width of 90 degrees.

The booster is very linear. You set its gain from 0 to 15 dB in 1 dB steps with the plus and minus buttons and read the setting on the LED display. With the booster bypassed, the antenna works passively from 420 to 1300 MHz. It runs on +12 V at 100 mA.

The copper-clad epoxy fiberglass body has a black matte finish, and a sturdy metal frame and epoxy-protected cable joints make it rugged. It mounts on a 5/8 in thread, or a 3/8 in thread with an adapter. The LBNA2 sold here has a BNC connector, and the LNNA2 version has an N connector. Wisycom’s POULBN soft pouch fits it.
