Sound Devices Reporter Plugin — Simplify the settings of your MixPre so your contributors can focus on capturing great content. The Reporter plugin allows you to configure your MixPre in advance and then lock the menus. Send it off with a journalist, interviewee, or another contributor in confidence.

With the Reporter plugin for the MixPre-3, MixPre-6, MixPre-3 II and MixPre-6 II, a sound professional, broadcaster, or organization can fully configure the MixPre to their requirements and then lock the menus with a key combination. Contributors will simply need to connect a microphone and headphones, hit record, and adjust volume – no menu diving required. This plugin is perfect for journalists, reporters, remote interviewees, and other contributors who would excel with a simple interface.

With the MixPre’s 32-bit float recording, ultra-clean preamplifiers, optional MixAssist and NoiseAssist plugins, and now the Reporter plugin, contributors can deliver an excellent recording with ease.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally.
